18th century French faience stapled shallow bowl
£45
18th century
Dated
Full Description
The city of Nevers in the Bourgoyne - Franche - Comte region in central France was a centre for the manufacture of faience (tin-glazed earthenware pottery) between 1580 and the early 19th century
This shallow bowl most probably dates to the 18th century. It was obviously a cherished possession with 3 staples used to consolidate the pieces
