Antique, 17th/18th century substantial door lock with original working key:
The key does operate the lock but requires some force when this is done
The lock has been mounted on part of a 19th century pine drawer front (a salvaged piece of wood)
The lock can be displayed with the key in situ, or the key can be hung on the hook to the side of the lock (as shown)
This item could be displayed on an easel or hung on a wall
An unusual and rare decorative item which displays very well
