Antique, unusual, early 20th. Attorney at Law oak and mahogany bank of drawers

I rarely foray into the world of 20th century antiques being much more at home with 18th and 19th century items, but I was attracted to this bank of drawers whilst on a buying expedition

This is lovely bank of 3 drawers in mahogany and oak with gold lettering. The item has a warm rich mahogany patina, whilst the gentle rubbing of the lettering gives this item great character

This item was manufactured in mahogany, but the drawer linings are in oak, indicating that this was an item of some quality when it was made

There are 3 cut-outs in the base suggesting that this bank of drawers was on a stand which may have rotated

This is a solid bank of drawers with wear commensurate with the item's use. It probably dates to the 1920's, but could be earlier.

Given the depth of the drawers a large number of items can be accommodated within them making this a useful item even today

Postage is just to within mainland UK. Delivery will be by UPS
