A set of four 16th century oak French panels (c.1520) no doubt formerly forming the facade of a coffer
Lovely linenfold carving on all four panels
All four panels exhibit a vertical split and have historically been glued - all four panels are secure
Lovely wear to the carving. Great patination and colour
There is evidence of some original green paint on the panels as shown in the photographs - no attempt has been made to remove this as this paint is part of the history of the panels
