An antique vase/pot made by Veuve Perrin sometime between 1748 and 1803
This item is stamped with the monogram VP
The Veueve Perrin pottery became well known for its naturalistic, polychrome decorations which were normally of flowers, foliage and insects
This item has floral decoration, but also has a picture of an 18th century gentleman and lady. The gentleman is wearing the traditional tricorn hat of the day
Condition: - there is some rubbing/chips around the rim as shown in some of the photographs
- there are some small chips on two of the four feet
- there is some rubbing on two of the feet
- there is a hairline crack on one of the feet
Please look at all the photographs as they are a good indication of the condition of this item which is in a remarkably good state considering its age, but is far from perfect
